Stranger In My Bed

image

There’s a stranger in my bed!
My bed is no longer as big as it used to be.
I can no longer roll over or sleep free like I used to with arms and legs stretched in whatever direction I wanted.

There’s a stranger in my bed
Who now twists and turns stretching her little arms leaving me no room for me on a once large bed

There’s a stranger in my bed who curls while freely passing wind, not afraid to wake me anytime she’s not comfortable and many times wants to rest in my arms or on the bossom of her mother than on the bed

There’s a stranger in my bed
who has confined me to one corner of the bed, keeping me mostly awake that morning finds me tired with bugs in my eyes.

This stranger in my bed is now family and I might as well get used to the changes she brings along
